In 1971, Dipl.-Ing. Horst Watz founded a sales company for hydraulic and pneumatic systems. A short while later, it began to design and produce its own hydraulic systems.
Today, the parent company, Watz Hydraulik, manufacturers for customers across the world. It produces individual special solutions and also standardised units and cylinders.
With the acquisition of HydroService in 2014, Dipl.-Ing. Horst Watz took control of a company which was founded in 1964 which is specialised in the manufacture of custom and large cylinders.
Both hydraulic companies are complemented by Watz-Service GmbH, which takes on the on-site services such as assembly, maintenance and repair work.
Faudi GmbH also belongs to the Watz group of companies. Faudi is a global company specialising in filtration technology.
